The humorous moments of motherhood have also inspired moments in my novels, among other aspects of motherhood, one of which is the desire to protect. I am a Mama Bear. My kids know it. My husband knows it, and he is a Papa Bear, too. We will protect our kids, no matter what. In my novels, sometimes the children are threatened, and nothing will stop the parents from doing everything in their power to protect them.
